Nebraska Transfer Initiative
The Nebraska Transfer Initiative began in 1995 as a group of general education transfer courses which were articulated among the six Nebraska community colleges. When possible, these courses share the same alphabetical listing, number and course content. The Nebraska Transfer Initiative has been expanded to include some non-general education courses that can be used as transfer electives. A detailed listing of statewide articulated courses is available at www.statewidecourses.org, or contact our transfer specialists listed above.
Transfer Nebraska
Nebraska’s public higher education institutions have joined together to offer Transfer Nebraska, a site that provides a list of courses that will transfer from one school to another – helping you to plan your future, save time and money, and stay on the path to a degree and successful career. Contact one of the academic transfer specialists listed above for assistance in reviewing your options.
Reverse Transfer Initiative
Does coursework count at both a four-year institution and CCC? Yes! Reverse transfer is the process of awarding an associate degree to students who began their education at CCC and then transferred to a four-year institution prior to completing their associate degree. While at the four-year institution, students work toward their bachelor degree requirements and may transfer their coursework back to CCC to complete their associate degree requirements at no additional cost. To be eligible, a student must have completed 25 percent of the degree requirements at CCC and have a 2.0 GPA.
